Argyll Resources encompasses a variety of companies based in Oban, Argyll on the coast of the West Highlands of Scotland.
John MacLachlan Ltd started as a construction business around Oban in 1919. The family business has continued to grow and has now developed to the point where it offers a wide range of consumer and business to business services in Argyll and further afield.
The current proprietors, John and Susan MacLachlan operate with a team of 50 staff and are continuing to develop these businesses, create new opportunities and providing valuable services to the local and wider communities of Argyll and Scotland.

Potential Partnership Opportunities
As a major landowner in and around Oban and with main depots at Fort William, Lochgilphead, Dunoon and on the island of Mull we are willing to help potential partners or independent businesses expand their own operations on a shared facility basis, or by making rental areas available where such use can work without adverse impact on our own operations.
